Gingerbread houses always remind me of sitting in church as a child. I would imagine that the white bricks were whipped topping and that the pews were gram crackers. (I liked gram crackers better than gingerbread).
That was just a little trivia for all you folks out there.

right. I don't have the imagination you did, or do. Merry Christmas.
Merry Christmas Jen and family!!! I hope you have a very merry Christmas! Love ya, Valery
Another nice illustration! I also agree that gram crackers are better suited for gingerbread houses. However, have you tried gingerbread flavored egg nogg? It might just be the role gingerbread was born to play.
AGAIN YOU HAVE CAPTURED ANOTHER SWEET MOMENT! I just love the way you do this. Each one has light to the piece. I feel the emotions and everything through your illustrations which is so very important in children's book illustration. It's so much more than just drawing a picture. Can you capture the moment and convey the spirit or feeling behind the picture. You do this oh so very well! Great work once again! God bless you this Christmas and may it be one of the very best ones for you and yours. Hugs a plenty
I hope you don't mind I used your image on my blog. I did put your name and website. I love your art. You are very talented!!! If there's a copyright on it please tell me and I can take it down. I should've asked first.

Ginger bread houses have got to be one of the most fantastic looking cakes in the world! But only if they are decorated with lots of jelly buttons and such.
Lovely image, and happy new year! hope you had a good Christmas too
